Ottobock and Oxfordshire mobility retailer team up for Naidex again
Ottobock and Oxfordshire-based mobility retailer Recare have partnered up to exhibit at this year’s Naidex, demonstrating the supplier’s range of manual and powered chairs for the second year running.
According to Ottobock, this first partnership between the two proved a success at last year’s show and continues to build on the close relationship between the supplier and retailer.
In 2017, the two organisations collaborated at the 2017 World Para-Athletics Championships in London and in August 2018, Recare was the first retailer in the UK to invest in the supplier’s new merchandising, creating a new Ottobock-branded section in its bricks and mortar mobility shop.
Commenting on the joint Naidex activity, James Holland-Oakes, Commercial Director of Recare, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Ottobock once more at Naidex, meeting people with a wide range of needs and requirements and showcasing Ottobock’s impressive line-up of manual wheelchairs and powered wheelchairs.”
Simon Tempest, Head of Mobility at Ottobock UK, added: “Naidex is an incredibly important event here at Ottobock and we are thrilled to team up with Recare again to showcase our range. We’re looking forward to being back!”
At this year’s show, the manufacturer, well-known for its prosthetics and orthotics solutions, will be showcasing a number powerchairs from its Juvo range, as well as the Ottobock A200.
In addition, Ottobock will have a number of its manual wheelchairs on show, together with special seating units and a selection of wheelchairs by Wolturnus, of which Ottobock is the UK distributor.
