OptiMat utilises more recent advances in reactive foam and automated pressure monitoring technologies for active surfaces.

Its management has a long history of pressure injury prevention surfaces, dating back to the early 1990’s when Ray Booth worked as a service engineer, supporting Huntleigh Healthcare’s original Nimbus launch into hospital and community across the north west.

Since then and over a 20 year period, Ray established, grew and exited specialist pressure care surfaces company, Select Medical.

OptiMat by Vaditeq is a manufacturing healthcare division within Vaditeq which manages a portfolio of pressure injury prevention brands.

The UK firm partners with healthcare equipment suppliers seeking clinically effective, reliable and affordable surfaces for pressure injury prevention.
