Opera Beds draws record crowds at Naidex 2026 as new innovations impress attendees
Adjustable and profiling beds specialist Opera Beds says that it drew record interest at this year’s Naidex, with its latest product innovations receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from attendees.
Held on 25th-26th March at the NEC Birmingham, the milestone 50th edition of Naidex proved to be the company’s busiest show to date.
The Opera Beds stand welcomed a high volume of visitors across both days, with strong engagement driven by live product demonstrations, hands-on experiences and access to expert clinical advice.
Two newly unveiled products, the Junior Adjustable Bed and the Omni Bedside Table, were particularly well received. The Omni Bedside Table stood out as a key talking point, with visitors noting how it fills a clear gap in the market. Designed to move seamlessly with adjustable and profiling beds, the table impressed attendees with its versatility and ease of use..
Alongside the new launches, Opera Beds’ existing range also drew significant attention. The Rotating Chair Bed proved especially popular during live demonstrations, with visitors drawn to its market-leading combination of functionality and build quality.
Opera Beds’ design stands apart with its fully upholstered finish and durable metal frame construction, offering greater longevity and a more premium, homely feel compared to alternatives in the market.
The bed’s full rotation into a chair position, alongside height adjustment up to carer level, further showcased how it supports both users and caregivers in everyday routines.
Visitors also benefited from complimentary, on-stand clinical guidance from Occupational Therapist, Barbara Franks BSc (Hons), who provided tailored advice and support throughout the event. This added-value experience was highly praised by attendees, reinforcing Opera Beds’ commitment to combining product innovation with expert-led care solutions.
Andrew Whittle, Product Development Manager at Opera Beds, said: “Naidex 2026 has been an incredibly valuable experience for us. It’s been our busiest show yet and the level of engagement on the stand was fantastic.
“The response to our new innovations has been extremely encouraging. It’s clear there’s a real demand for thoughtful, well-designed solutions that genuinely improve day-to-day living.
“Events like Naidex give us the opportunity to connect directly with the people who use our products, gather feedback and demonstrate the real impact of what we do.”
The event also marked an important milestone for Opera Beds, as the company showcased its refreshed brand identity across its stand and marketing materials, highlighting its focus on premium design, innovation, and human-centred care.
Following strong interest at the show, Opera Beds will continue refining both new products ahead of their anticipated launch this summer, with pre-orders having opened at the event.
