“The amount and pace of innovation taking place in the assistive technology sector is staggering and really transforming lives, giving disabled people unprecedented levels of mobility and independence,” commented Sarah Sarsby, Editor of AT Today.

“It is an area that is only going to see more development and staying abreast of all the changes and new technology can prove difficult for busy healthcare and industry professionals.

“AT Today addresses this with highly-informative and educational content to help ensure those in the sector know what new technology is out there to improve the lives of their clients, so we are delighted it will be available to attendees at this year’s OT Show.”

Aimed at healthcare and industry professionals involved in the wide-spanning field, AT Today keeps occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and nursing & rehabilitation specialists and more up-to-date with latest AT innovations.

The title covers everything from high-tech solutions in rehabilitation, prosthetics, mobility, independent living and more, to invaluable insights and advice from industry experts including Promoting Independence’s Stuart Barrow, A1 Risk Solution’s Deborah Harrison, Disabled Living Foundation’s Janet Seward and the OT Practice’s Kate Sheehan.

For professionals keen to stay up to date with regular news, AT Today also publishes high-quality assistive technology news daily on its website, alongside a twice-weekly newsletter.

The magazine has been distributed from leading events throughout 2019, including the popular Occupational Therapy Adaptations Conference’s (OTAC), Disabled Living Foundation’s Moving and Handling Conference, as well as Warrington Disability Partnership’s Disability Awareness Day.

The upcoming issue of AT Today, due in January 2020, will include special features on paediatrics, moving and handling, bathing and toileting, telecare and specialist seating.

The magazine will be available at OTAC’s spring conferences (Drayton Manor, Midlands in January; Llanelli, Wales in February; Leeds in April), Kidz to Adultz Middle and Naidex in March, as well as Med Tech Expo in April.
