Occupational Therapy Week OT's working with clientLatus Group, one of the UK’s fastest-growing providers of occupational health services, has announced the acquisition of Peritus Health Management.

The acquisition represents a strategic consolidation within the sector and significantly scales Latus Group’s capacity and geographical reach, expanding its mobile health surveillance capabilities and strengthening its fast-growing occupational hygiene practice which has seen significant increases in demand.

Peritus, based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, is a provider of occupational health, health surveillance and occupational hygiene services and has delivered consistent growth of 20 per cent year-on-year for the last five years.

The company operates a fleet of 11 mobile health surveillance units and is widely respected for its technical expertise and high levels of customer satisfaction.

All 30 Peritus employees have been welcomed into the Latus team and operations will continue to be supported from a new Brighouse-based office, ensuring continuity for customers, clients and staff.

Latus, founded in 2017 by former professional rugby league player and current Hull Kingston Rovers board member Jack Latus, has grown rapidly to become one of the leading companies in its sector, forecasting a 63 per cent increase in turnover for the year ending March 2026.

It currently provides tech-enabled occupational health solutions, from general occupational health assessments to highly specialised medical examinations for industries such as offshore and aviation, to over 4,000 clients including Dyson, Ford, and RAC Group.

Latus was supported on the transaction by NorthEdge. The private equity firm invested in the business in July 2024 to support the company deliver its M&A and growth ambitions.
