NRS Healthcare’s online store to offer free at-home assessments as part of its specialist wheelchair service
As part of its expansion into services that reflect the company’s broader healthcare commitment, Healthcare Pro will be launching a specialist wheelchair service.
Healthcare Pro is an online store offering over 4,500 products, which was launched by independent living aids manufacturer NRS Healthcare in January.
The new offering by Healthcare Pro comprises an extensive range of over 140 manual and powered specialist wheelchairs backed by a full warranty guarantee, together with a free, nationwide, in-home wheelchair assessment designed to guide the customer to the right specialist wheelchair for their individual needs, environment and budget.
Rob Davies, Head of Wheelchair Operations at Healthcare Pro, says: “We understand that choosing the right wheelchair is a deeply personal experience and that many people feel unsure of where to find the right product for their own circumstances.

As many of the specialist wheelchair range are made to order and customised to the customer’s individual clinical needs and specific requirements, the free Wheelchair Home Assessment begins with a telephone consultation to determine which manual or powered wheelchair is most appropriate. For a powered wheelchair, an in-home visit is arranged with an experienced Healthcare Pro Wheelchair Specialist.

As well as supporting customers directly, Healthcare Pro’s wheelchair specialists also work with occupational therapists and clinicians on referral, joint assessment or as part of a fully tailored service.
