Electric Mobility has announced the appointment of Jason Hunter to its team as the new technical manager.
Jason brings with him a broad range of skills and experiences from the development and testing of complex systems, equipment and avionics integration, through to large volume OEM design, manufacture and production.
He began his career in the design and manufacturing sector and has worked on a diverse portfolio of industries including motorhomes, aviation and military projects throughout the UK and across the globe having taken his expertise from France to America to Slovakia.
Jonathan Hearth, Managing Director of Electric Mobility, commented on Jason’s appointment: “We are excited to have someone with Jason’s level of engineering expertise spanning multiple sectors on board to propel the Rascal Range ahead. We look forward to having Jason as part of the EMOB team.”
Jason’s previous projects include working as Chief Engineer Electrics on a ‘Flying Car’ prototype in Slovakia and, more recently, as Engineering Lead on a helicopter training simulator in Bristol, UK.
On starting his new role with Electric Mobility, Jason said: “I am looking forward to supporting and developing products in the mobility industry, and plan to bring new ideas to expand and enhance the user experience in alignment with the high expectations of the Rascal brand, applying technologies and processes that I have accrued over my 25 years in Engineering and Design.”
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and not-so-long walks with his pug Frank, however his main passions are riding and maintaining his motorbikes alongside supporting Hull City FC.
