New Operations Director joins Five Mobility as firm continues to grow its customer base
Five Mobility has announced that Dan Mahoney has joined the bariatric and specialist equipment supplier’s leadership team as the company’s new Operations Director.
Established in 2019, Five Mobility provides beds, mattresses, seating, toileting and hoisting aids and equipment to the acute, community, long-term care and home care sectors. With depots in the north and east of England, its specialist team assists healthcare professionals and patients with emergency equipment.
Dan previously worked with Directors Shaun McCluskey and Mark Fowkes at Kirton Healthcare and more recently with Sales Director Greg Wingate at Arjo 1st Call.
Greg, who joined the company in October 2020 commented: “Dan’s appointment is a big step forward for our business, Dan brings with him a wealth of knowledge in plus size care solutions and bariatric rentals, with a strong focus and understanding of the customer service required for Five Mobility to succeed in this market.

Dan told THIIS: “As Operations Director I will manage and oversee the running of our depot locations and rental technicians, ensuring Five Mobility are adequately stocked to meet the requirements of our growing customer base and meeting our four hour service level agreement for supply of core products.
“The opportunity to work alongside past colleagues with a shared desire to exceed customer expectations, was one I could not turn down.
“I look forward to finding further solutions to improve the customer experience and efficiency of our rental operation, having already successfully implemented an improved rental management software.”
