Debbie Murray joins Essential Healthcare Group

Support surfaces specialists Essential Healthcare, part of the Essential Group, has bolstered its senior management team with the appointment of experienced industry professional Debbie Murry as Group Clinical & Commercial Director.

Having spent 27 years in support surfaces related services and wound care, Debbie will be responsible for a team of 39, with a focus on developing a strategy to grow the support surface and service solutions provided by the business.

Thomas Owens, Managing Director of Essential Group, commented: “Debbie is a significant appointment for us and an incredibly welcome addition to the team. Beginning her career as nurse advisor and progressing to Commercial Director at one of the UK’s market leaders in the prevention of pressure ulcers, she will now also be driving forward the Essential Group’s training business Essential Training Solutions. The business provides bespoke training to health and social care services both remotely and from its state of the art, dedicated training suite at its Head Quarters in Birstall, Leeds.

Established in 1999, Essential Healthcare Solutions provides an extensive range of products and care solutions in the support surfaces arena for healthcare providers, including the NHS and Care Homes. Following a successful period of growth and investment secured in 2014, Thomas established the Essential Group of Companies in 2015.
