Motus Medical joins Ottobock in becoming a supplier of its latest e-mobility device

Introduced by Ottobock at Rehacare 2024, the innovative Genny Zero is self-balancing on two wheels and uses proprietary, advanced stabilisation technology.

Mark Western, Sales Manager at Motus Medical commented: “The Genny Zero uses cutting edge technology to ensure an intuitive control both on and off the road.
“The user just needs to shift their upper body to navigate freely, while the tiller allows control left and right.”
In contrast to conventional manual wheelchairs, as users are able to move around hands-free this helps relieve strain on the shoulder joints and arms.
At 65kg, the e-mobility device is lightweight and agile while providing reliable stability in an upright position – whether on the pavement or cobblestones, or over curbs and slopes.
The Genny Zero features an ergonomically shaped seat to ensure maximum comfort and support when piloting.
Featuring intuitive controls, the user can monitor their speed and customise their driving experience with the user friendly steering column and control centre.
When it’s time to stop or take a break, the user can simply engage the parking arms for complete stability allowing them to disembark. Its comfortable backrest also conveniently folds down, enhancing storage when not in use.
Motus Medical works with private clients, NHS services, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and charities all over the UK. The retailer is currently offering customers a free home assessment of the Genny Zero.
