Motability Scheme’s annual awards recognise mobility retailers for outstanding customer service
Mobility retailers up and down the UK have been recognised for providing outstanding levels of customer service in the Motability Scheme’s annual awards.
Split across three categories – large category, medium category and small category – the awards are based on direct feedback from customers of the scheme and are aimed at rewarding mobility retailers’ commitment to going above and beyond to deliver high standards of care.
Every scooter and powered wheelchair dealership with a fleet size of 35 customers or over is entered into the awards and rated out of 10, with the average score for all eligible dealerships in the 2019 Motability Scheme awards being 9.5 out of 10.
The winning and commended dealerships in the large and medium categories all scored 9.8 or over, with Motability confirming that both the winning and commended dealerships in the small category impressively achieved a clean sweep of 10 out of 10.
“One of the main aims of the Motability Powered Wheelchair and Scooter Scheme is to deliver exceptional service to our customers, and these dealerships demonstrate excellent customer service day in, day out,” commented Ian Goswell, Commercial Services Director, Motability Operations.
We take great pride in working with these award-winning dealers; they’re the face of the Motability Scheme to so many customers, and it’s fantastic to see their continued dedication.”
Operated by Motability Operations, the Motability Scheme offers car and mobility vehicle leasing options to those in receipt of the required PIP or DLA allowances, enabling people to lease a new scooter or powered wheelchair.
The winners and highly commended recipients across the three categories are:
Large category (fleet size over 200)
Commended – Hearing & Mobility and Seacroft Mobility
Medium category (fleet size between 100-200)
Commended – True Mobility and Altonaids Mobility
Small category (fleet size between 35-100)
Commended – North East Mobility Solutions and Cornwall Mobility Centre
According to Motability Operations, this year’s winners and commended mobility companies consist of a mix of first-time and repeat winners, with Chartercare Mobility and Mobility Direct NI both having been commended previously, whilst True Mobility won the medium category last year.https://thiis.co.uk/motabilitys-annual-awards-recognises-mobility-retailers-for-outstanding-customer-service/https://i1.wp.com/thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/motability-awards-winners.jpg?fit=900%2C600&ssl=1https://i1.wp.com/thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/motability-awards-winners.jpg?resize=150%2C150&ssl=1Awards & AchievementsNewsroomRetailer NewsTrade NewsAltonaids Mobility, annual awards,Beechwood Mobility,Charterwood Mobility,Cornwall Mobility Centre, customer service,DLA,Hearing and Mobility, mobility dealer,Mobility Direct Northern Ireland,Mobility retail,Mobility scooters,Motability,Motability Operations,Motability Scheme,North East Mobility Solutions,PIP,powerchairs, powered wheelchairs,Seacroft Mobility,True MobilityMobility retailers up and down the UK have been recognised for providing outstanding levels of customer service in the Motability Scheme’s annual awards.Split across three categories – large category, medium category and small category – the awards are based on direct feedback from customers of the scheme and are...Calvin BarnettCalvin Barnettcalvin@thiis.co.ukAdministratorTHIIS Magazine
