Motability Scheme to inspire attendees with presentations on boosting personal accessibility
The Motability Scheme has announced that it will be attending Naidex 2026, one of the UK’s biggest events for disability, accessibility and independent living on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 March at the NEC in Birmingham.
At Naidex 2026, the Motability Operations team will be available on stand N-K50 to support visitors with clear, friendly advice to those exploring their first vehicle, managing a current lease, or would like to find out more about how the Scheme works.
The Motability Scheme welcomes healthcare professionals looking to understand more about how the Scheme supports independence and wellbeing, with access to education, work, healthcare and social activities.
Motability will also host presentations at this year’s Naidex event, including ‘My story: how the Motability Scheme helps me live life my way’ by Mark Ormrod, on Thursday 26 March, 1.40pm to 2.10pm.
Mark is a former Royal Marine and triple amputee. Since his injury in Afghanistan in 2007, he’s become a motivational speaker, Invictus Games athlete, and strong voice for disabled veterans. He’ll share how the Scheme has supported his independence and everyday life.
Additionally, ‘Inside the Motability Scheme: mobility that makes life easier’ will be presented by Sian Robinson, on Wednesday 25 March, 12.55pm to 1.20pm.
Sian invites attendees to learn how the Motability Scheme supports disabled people with a wide choice of mobility solutions, including cars, WAVWheelchair Accessible Vehicles, powered wheelchairs and scooters.
Sian will also explain how the Scheme works and what having the right vehicle can mean for everyday life. With real customer stories and practical insights, she’ll bring the Scheme to life and show the impact accessible transport can have.
