Motability Operations CMO to deliver keynote on inclusive EV transition at MOVE 2024
Lisa Thomas, Chief Marketing Officer at Motability Operations, the UK’s biggest car leasing company, will deliver a keynote speech at MOVE 2024, the world’s premier tech mobility event.
Her address will focus on the urgent need to make the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) more accessible and inclusive for disabled drivers, drawing on unique insights from Motability Operations’ 760,000 customers.

Over 50,000 Scheme customers have switched to an EV so far, but the company is aware that many customers have concerns about the cost of EVs, anxiety over range and issues with the lack of accessible public charging.
Thomas’ keynote will highlight some of these challenges, but also disclose a range of initiatives the company is delivering to address them, including working with home chargepoint supplier Ohme to install over 46,000 home charge points for customers as part of their EV lease package.
She will also discuss partnering with Paua, to launch the ‘Motability Go Charge’ app to simplify public EV charging for Scheme customers, and launching eVITA, a next generation electric wheelchair accessible vehicle (eWAV) concept with automotive design house CALLUM.
