Monarch Mobility trade portalMobility equipment supplier Monarch Mobility has unveiled a completely redesigned website as part of a wider strategic shift aimed at strengthening support for its authorised retail partners and enhancing the customer buying journey.

The launch introduces a range of new trade-focused features, alongside significant changes to the company’s retail model, all designed to generate more opportunities for retailers, improve access to business resources and make it easier than ever to partner with Monarch Mobility.

Supporting the strategy is an annual marketing commitment of up to £1.2 million, expanded credit account facilities, a dedicated Trade Portal and a refined retail approach that places authorised retail partners at the centre of every mobility scooter and electric wheelchair purchase.

In a significant strategic move, Monarch Mobility has removed online purchasing for mobility scooters and electric wheelchairs from its website, choosing instead to connect customers directly with its authorised retail partners.

The company states that these products are best purchased through experienced mobility specialists who can provide expert advice, product demonstrations and ongoing aftersales support, ensuring customers have the confidence to choose the right solution for their individual needs.

To support this approach, every mobility scooter and electric wheelchair featured on the new website now includes a product-specific “Where to Buy” page. Rather than simply locating the nearest retailer, customers are directed to authorised partners who actively stock the product they are interested in, creating a seamless journey from online research to in-store advice and demonstration.Monarch Mobility trade portal

The result is a better experience for customers and more relevant, higher-quality enquiries for Monarch Mobility’s retail partners.

Alongside the consumer website, Monarch Mobility has launched a new Trade Portal, providing authorised retail partners with immediate access to a comprehensive suite of sales, marketing and technical resources.

The portal includes online ordering, high-resolution product and lifestyle imagery, product demonstration and support videos, point-of-sale materials, marketing assets and sales support resources.

By bringing these tools together in one central platform, the Trade Portal enables partners to access the latest information quickly, market Monarch Mobility products more effectively and support customers with confidence.

As part of its strategic retail shift, Monarch Mobility has also refocused its direct retail operations and will now operate as a trade-only supplier throughout the South of England, Wales and Scotland.

This decision reflects the company’s commitment to supporting its retail partners by reducing direct competition in these regions and enabling more customer enquiries to be channelled through its authorised network.

To further support partner growth, Monarch Mobility has also expanded the availability of credit account facilities, providing retailers with greater flexibility to increase stock holdings, broaden their product offering and invest in future growth.

Commenting on the launch, Stacey Fullalove, Director at Monarch Mobility, said:

“This is much more than a new website. It represents an important step in how we support our retail partners and how we help customers access the right mobility solution.

“We’ve made the deliberate decision not to compete with our retail partners  by removing online purchasing and adopted a trade-first approach across the South of England, Wales and Scotland, where we’ve reduced our direct retail coverage to ensure more customers are supported by our authorised retail network.

“Every feature we’ve introduced has been developed with our partners in mind. From the new “Where to Buy” function and Trade Portal to our expanded credit facilities and continued investment in marketing, our aim is to create more opportunities and provide the tools our partners need to grow.” The new website is now live.
