Based in Essex, Harlow Mobility is now up for sale as the existing owner wishes to retire, offering a new owner the chance to “reap the benefits.”

Formally trading as 1st Call Mobility, Harlow Mobility has a leasehold price of £175,000+SAV and an annual turnover of £474,000, according to Daltonsbusiness.

1st Call Mobility’s bariatric division, which had a turnover of £8 million a year, was sold in 2016 for an eight-figure sum to Arjo, leaving the rest of the mobility store to carry on as normal under the Harlow Mobility name.

However, Harlow Mobility’s current manager is relocating elsewhere, while the existing owner wants to retire. Daltonsbusiness says that this is the perfect opportunity for “dynamic” new owners to come in and take over the business and “reap the benefits.”

With Harlow Mobility’s history, new owners are expected to easily turn the current £474,000 annual turnover into £1 million or above.

The business sales portal also notes that Harlow is a growing town, with more than 10 thousand homes being built in the near future, offering expansion opportunities for the mobility outlet and a growing customer base.

Harlow Mobility sells a range of mobility aids, including stairlifts, specialist beds, daily living aids, rise & recline chairs, scooters, wheelchairs, powerchairs and walking aids.
