Mobility retailers asked to be vigilant after mobility scooter stolen
Mobility manufacturer Scooterpac is warning mobility dealerships to be alert of people looking to sell its goods which were stolen this week.
A Mercedes-Benz Grey Sprinter Van (YL66 MLX) owned by the company was stolen in Lowestoft, Suffolk, in the early hours of Friday morning (18th January 2019). The van’s contents included a white Cabin Car Mk2 and various other parts and tools.
In a statement, Scooterpac said: “We would appreciate that anyone with any information about the van and its missing contents would please contact us.
“We would not want any mobility retailer or individual to potential suffer from the purchasing of any stolen goods.”
The missing mobility scooter is described as: Cabin Car Mk2, white, serial number 201810100.
Platinum Stairlifts also had some of its products stolen in November 2018 at The OT Show, which almost ruined the exhibition for the company.
