East Midlands-based Premier Mobility has been granted a £76,300 a year contract to install and maintain lifts in the homes of people by South Kesteven District Council.

Confirmed in August, the contract will see the mobility firm ensure disabled and elderly residents in the local government district of South Kesteven in Lincolnshire, including Grantham, Stamford, Bourne and Market Deeping, have safe and functional lifts in their homes.

The district council also awarded a three-year contract worth £1.28 million for aids and adaptations works to T&S Heating.

The Nottingham-based heating specialist will now be responsible for supplying and installing aids and adaptations recommended by OTs to help people remain independent in their own homes, including wetrooms, ramps, grab rails and more.
