West Midlands-based Brierley Hill Hearing & Mobility has donated £500 to its nearest branch of The Dogs Trust in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

The Brierley Hill branch of national mobility retailer Hearing & Mobility is a well-established shop, previously known as Keep Able.

The mobility store’s charity donation was made possible because of an Autumn campaign run by one of the mobility shop’s trusted partners, Companion, which provides homelifts, stairlifts and accessible bathing solutions through a network of mobility retailers.

Companion’s ‘Pay It Forward’ campaign was designed as a thank you to its retail partners, who refer customers considering home adaptations to the team at Companion.

David Harrison, Sales and Marketing Director for Companion, said: “We’re huge fans of the Pay it Forward concept which means to respond to a person’s kindness by being kind to someone else.

“We’re truly appreciative of all our partners and thought this would be a nice way to say thank you for their continued loyalty and support.”

Upon learning it had won Companion’s prize of a £500 donation for its chosen charity, the Hearing & Mobility team were unanimous in its decision to give the money to its nearest branch of The Dogs Trust.

Hearing & Mobility’s Mel Jinks commented: “We’re over the moon to have won the Pay It Forward prize of a £500 charity donation and we know the money will be put to good use at the Dogs Trust, a charity which holds a special place in the hearts of all our team.”

Part of the multi-national Handicare Group, Companion supplies homelifts, stairlifts and accessible bathing solutions throughout the UK.
