Mobility in Motion will showcase a fully adapted 2025 Ford Explorer designed for drivers with reduced mobility or disabilities

Mobility in Motion, a manufacturer and supplier of vehicle adaptations, will have a unique presence at an upcoming landmark EV consultation event tomorrow taking place in West Yorkshire.

The company has answered a call from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority to lease an EV vehicle, kitted out with the latest driving adaptations, which will be on display at the ‘Explore Electric’ event being held on Tuesday 10 September at the John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield.

Explore Electric is being held as part of a public consultation to improve electric vehicle infrastructure across West Yorkshire, through the authority’s £17 million Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) programme.

While there will be 40+ EV vehicles on show, Mobility in Motion’s vehicle – a 2025 Ford Explorer will be the only one of its kind, adapted to demonstrate what is possible for people with reduced mobility or a disability, but who still want to retain their independence behind the wheel and explore purchasing an EV vehicle.
