Mobility in Motion partners with Aspire to support people with spinal cord injury
Accessible automotive solutions provider Mobility in Motion has announced a new partnership with Aspire, a national charity supporting people with spinal cord injuries.
Building on a shared commitment to accessibility, empowerment, and independence, this new collaboration aims to raise awareness of adaptive driving solutions and highlight the importance of mobility in life after a spinal cord injury.
This partnership follows a successful milestone in 2024, when Mobility in Motion proudly sponsored Aspire’s 100th Channel swim, a historic achievement that celebrated the determination and resilience of Aspire’s fundraisers and the people they support.
Together, Aspire and Mobility in Motion will focus on increasing visibility around adapted driving, a topic that, until now, has not been a major area of focus for Aspire.
Through expert-led content, lived experience stories, and informative resources, the partnership will help those with a spinal cord injury understand what’s possible when it comes to getting back on the road, regaining independence, and reclaiming everyday freedom whether as a driver or passenger.
Bruce Lauder, Head of Sales and Marketing at Mobility in Motion, commented: “We’re incredibly excited to deepen our relationship with Aspire,” said “There’s a real gap in knowledge around what driving and car travel looks like after a spinal cord injury and we’re here to help fill it. Together, we can empower more people to explore the freedom that adapted driving can provide.”
The announcement also comes as Aspire’s Director of Fundraising and Marketing Paul Parrish, completes his incredible solo Channel swim, raising funds for Aspire despite challenging conditions that saw him joined by dolphins mid-crossing! Paul’s story exemplifies the spirit of Aspire and the kind of determination Mobility in Motion is proud to support.
This partnership represents a step forward in collaborative advocacy and community support, bringing together practical innovation and compassionate care to make a lasting impact.
Mobility in Motion recently announced that it has been appointed as the exclusive distributor in the UK for adaptive driving solutions from Pimas.
