The Atlas 4 hoist is designed to fit a range of cars and has a lifting capacity of up to 40kg. It is portable and easy to use which allows the user to take the Atlas 4 on holiday or use in multiple cars.

Monarch boasts that its new hoist is the only portable, non-permanent fixing hoist currently available in the mobility market and was specifically created for its versatility, size and strength. Martin Sampson, Director of Monarch Mobility, says that it is these features make the Atlas 4 the ideal choice for both consumers and dealers with the influx of folding mobility scooters into the UK market.

At Naidex 2019, Martin said that feedback about the Atlas 4 hoist was very positive and that Monarch’s stand was busy throughout the entire show.

He commented: “The Atlas4 has been something our Trade dealers have been waiting for a long time. It has taken us a while but has most certainly been worth it.

“Our stand at Naidex was very busy at all times due to the Atlas 4 interest. We have been inundated with orders for our first container and, at the moment, it’s first come, first served.

“The response from both dealer and consumers have been unbelievable, with comments like, ‘Wow don’t we need this,’ ‘How simple but so good, and ‘That’s exactly what I need’.”

Additionally, the company believes that hoist is well priced, which allows consumers to easily purchase the Atlas 4 alongside a folding scooter. This pricing also allows for a good, healthy margin for businesses, without being greedy, highlights the director.

Martin concluded: “Now is the time to push the Atlas 4 in showrooms, there isn’t another one out there like it and with the assistance of the manufacturer in marketing, the Atlas 4 will soon be the ‘I need product,’ keeping us all ahead of the online sellers.”
