Mobility & access industry invited to reconnect and tee off at the BHTA Golf Day this September
The British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) is inviting members and non-members alike to attend its annual industry Golf Day at the award-winning Foxhills Club and Resort on 8 September 2021.
Sponsored by Verlingue Insurance Brokers and open to all in the industry, the event is aimed at bringing the industry back together after 18 months of continuous COVID-19 disruption.
Keen golfers will have the opportunity to compete against their peers, clients or staff over 18 holes at Foxhills’ championship Longcross course in Surrey, home to the 2017 PGA Cup and named in Golf World’s top 100 courses in England.
Throughout the day, BHTA staff will also be on hand, serving refreshments and attending to all golfers’ needs, allowing participants to focus on enjoying themselves and showing off their golf skills.
Andrew Stevenson, Chairman of the British Healthcare Trades Association, commented: “We are excited to bring the industry together for this year’s Golf Day after what has been an extremely busy and trying 18 months for many in the industry.
“This year’s event promises to participants an opportunity to take a well-deserved pause and reconnect with peers at one of the best golf courses in England. It is also the perfect occasion to treat valued clients and hardworking staff.
“We look forward to reconnecting with colleagues, and seeing some new faces, on the day.”
Participants on the day will play a Stableford (4 Ball Better Ball) competition, where prizes will be awarded for the winning individual, the winning team, longest drive and nearest the pin.
Alongside the golf competition, the day also includes opportunities to network and entertain over breakfast and a barbeque dinner, with served refreshments throughout.
Prices for non-BHTA members start from £120 excluding VAT per player, and for BHTA members, start from £100 excluding VAT per player. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
