Merits Health Products welcomes new territory manager to support its growing dealer network
Mobility solutions provider Merits Health Products has welcomed Ross Andrews as its new territory sales manager to support its growing dealer network.
Ross is a mobility and clinical seating specialist with over 20 years experience in the sector, both in the UK and internationally.
A spokesperson for Merits Health Products said that Ross will deploy his business development skills to his new role as he shares his wealth of clinical expertise with the firm’s rehabilitation partners in the NHS and beyond.
Ross commented to THIIS: “With the infrastructure Merits have put into the UK in the past six months it’s clear they are looking to become one of, if not the leading, power chair providers in the UK. The role offers an opportunity to build something great, and I wanted to be a part of the team.”

Founded in Taiwan in 1986, Merits Health Products manufactures a wide range of products including manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, rehab power wheelchairs and mobility scooters, as well as seating and positioning products.
The firm has been the exclusive manufacturing partner of the Motivation Charitable Trust for the past 25 years, supplying wheelchairs for people living in low-resourced regions in countries such as in Kenya, Uganda, Malawi and India. The Motivation wheelchair range is regarded as a lifeline for international non-governmental organisations, sports federations and rehabilitation services worldwide.
Last year, the firm announced the acquisition of Aergo Health, a UK-based medical technology company specialising in dynamic postural management solutions for wheelchair users.
