What does your position involve?
In a nutshell, it involves the strategic development of our company and taking it forward.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The changes. Everything is constantly changing and the dynamics are always shifting, which presents a new challenge and a new opportunity each day. It is so varied which keeps me on my toes.
What is one of your proudest moments in the industry?
There have been so many but I think one of the proudest is when the BHTA presented us with an award for assistive technology and customer service. That was a standout moment for the company and the team.
What’s the biggest changes you have seen in the industry?
Without a doubt, it is the technology. There is an awful lot of new technology coming to the industry and I think the industry itself is constantly and quite rapidly evolving in a good way.
It is far more professional now than it was back in the early days. There is a lot more expertise and knowledge in the industry and I think it is definitely going in the right direction.
If you could bring one new innovation to the market, what would it be?
I’ve got a couple of things up my sleeve but I couldn’t possibly give them away.
What are your interests outside of work?
Family and golf are really my two passions. I like all sport in general, but golf tops the list.
If you had to do any other job in the world, what would it be?
Honestly, I don’t think there is any other job for me in the world. I really do enjoy what I do and it is a privilege for me to be the managing director of this company because it has given me the opportunity to carry forth the legacy that my father left behind.

Hands-down, no shadow of a doubt, my favourite place in the whole world is Barbados. I’ve been a few times and absolutely love it.
