Medstrom Healthcare launches series of webinars to engage with healthcare professionals
UK manufacturer of specialist hospital beds Medstrom Healthcare is launching a series of webinars with the vision to provide a space for thought-provoking discussions and the exchange of evidence-based research and practical experiences amongst healthcare professionals and their peers.
The first webinar – ‘360 review of rehabilitation and mobilisation; Patient, Physiologist, Nurse’ – will take place on 10th of February 2021 from 2pm-3pm and is free for healthcare professionals to attend.
Medstrom Healthcare has invited respected professionals and a survivor to present three essential aspects of rehabilitation and mobilisation in acute care in this webinar.
The first professional, Dr Colin Robertson, a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, has worked in all aspects of acute care and rehabilitation. Clinical staff from the Stroke Rehabilitation Centre, University Hospital Llandough, Cardiff and Vale Health Board will also share their expertise in the educational session.
Finally, Anthony Bennett, a patient given a 10 percent chance of survival, will share his powerful story that illustrates how individuals working as a team combined to save his life.
