Medstrom continues to engage with healthcare professionals with another free webinar
Specialist hospital bed manufacturer Medstrom is hosting a free webinar in May 2021 about the selection of innovative medical devices in the healthcare sector.
It follows the success of Medstrom’s first webinar, which took place in February, as the provider continues its webinar series to provide a space for thought-provoking discussions. The series encourages the exchange of evidence-based research and practical experiences amongst healthcare professionals and their peers.
Aimed at decision-makers within the NHS, the upcoming webinar – ‘Medical Device Innovation in the NHS’ – will take place on 11th May 2021, 14:00-15:00. Interested attendees can register for free here.
In the webinar, Dr Rebecca Hanlin will discuss the importance of thinking in terms of an ‘innovation system’, stressing the importance of having the right skills and capabilities as well as collaboration and coordination mechanisms.
Matthew Campbell-Hill will discuss what a medical device is, what decision-makers need to consider and who to consult before purchasing.
Dr Peter Worsley will focus on clinical evidence supporting medical devices. He will explore what level of evidence decision-makers should seek to support innovations and how to scrutinise the evidence they are presented with.
