Medequip UK to occupy space in £10m development to support its expansion in East Yorkshire
Community equipment loan services provider Medequip UK has become the first occupier of the £10m Evolve development within the fast-growing Melton West business park in East Yorkshire.
Evolve aims to address a shortage of high-quality, modern commercial spaces for growing businesses looking to invest within the region and has provided Medequip with a high-quality facility.
Built to the latest standards Evolve claims to boast excellent sustainability credentials, whilst also being at the heart of the region’s road network, enabling the business to expand into East Yorkshire.
A Medequip spokesperson commented: “We’re proud to be the first occupier at Evolve at Melton West, supporting our expansion into the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull.
“This new, sustainable depot will help us deliver vital community equipment across the region, keeping people independent.”
Medequip already has 27 depots across the country, and services 48 local authority areas in partnership with each council’s social care services and the NHS, is expanding into the region for the first time after being awarded a contract to deliver the Community Equipment Loan Service for the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull.
Following Medequip beginning operations, the other units are now approaching completion and will soon be available for occupation.
Medequip recently announced that it had selected Vanaways as its go-to partner for rapid supply vehicles.
