LITH-TECH’s new Smart Chair 3 folding wheelchair unlocks “a brilliant sense of freedom”
Surrey-based LITH-TECH has announced the launch of its new entry level Smart Chair 3 folding wheelchair that aims to be more affordable to customers without sacrificing on quality.
The wheelchair, which is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, features a 12AH battery capable of around 12 miles on a single charge, and is also compliant with aeroplane luggage limits.
According to LITH-TECH, the chair is designed for those who don’t not want to spend too much time on a wheelchair but are still looking for the reliability and functionality that they would expect from a top-quality product.
Built with an aluminium frame to make it strong and lightweight, the Smart Chair 3 has the ability to support individuals who weigh up to 20 stone. Its battery can reach a full charge in 5-6 hours from 10 per cent power and lasts around three years.
New technology features include an external and wireless controller that can be paired with the joystick, so the chair can be operated by a carer or family member from up to 10 metres away.
The wheelchair also features a 360-degree adjustable joystick for maximum navigability and is equipped with five different speed settings, a battery range indicator and a horn.
As with all LITH-TECH products, the chair is designed for those who like to travel and can be quickly folded to fit under a table, into a car boot, or anywhere else the user may require. The product folds from 980mm x 630mm x 920mm to 630mm x 400mm x 760mm.
