Kes-Vir Swimwear adaptive swim shortsAdaptive and incontinence swimwear brand Kes-Vir Swimwear has unveiled its latest innovation: new and improved adaptive wrap swim shorts for adults living with incontinence and life-limiting conditions.

The updated design was revealed during the Kidz to Adultz South exhibition in Farnborough, attended by approximately 3,000 visitors including parents, carers, occupational therapists, care home managers, and healthcare professionals.

The redesigned shorts were showcased as part of Kes-Vir’s wider adaptive swimwear range during a special pre-launch event on 1st May. The official product launch is scheduled for 20th May 2025.Kes-Vir Swimwear adaptive swim shorts

“The updated design features an innovative peel-on and peel-off fastening system, making dressing and changing quicker, simpler, and more dignified — particularly for individuals with limited mobility and their caregivers.”

Key features of the adaptive wrap swim shorts include hook-and-loop fastening for easy, adjustable closure, a magnetic button at the hem for effortless fastening, a tie cord and popper button at the waist for additional security.

These enhancements reflect Kes-Vir’s ongoing commitment to designing functional, stylish swimwear that promotes independence and dignity.

The shorts provide a secure solution for adults who experience incontinence, making it easier for them to participate in hydrotherapy and other water-based activities — a vital part of physical and emotional wellbeing.

Daksha added: “We’ve been listening to customers and carers who told us they wanted swimwear that promotes more independence during dressing, especially for hydrotherapy.

“Until now, our wrap shorts required users to fasten a row of tricky buttons. These new features are designed to simplify that process — not only giving users greater autonomy, but also supporting carers during dressing routines.”

Kes-Vir continues to partner with care homes, health services, schools, and therapy centres to support inclusive access to swimming and hydrotherapy for all.
