Karma Mobility has launched its new website, showcasing its range of lightweight and powered wheelchairs while focusing on directing enquiries to retail partners.

Established in 1999, Karma Mobility has established itself a specialist in the wheelchair market with a commitment to its trade-only model and championing assessment-led retail.

Headed up by Managing Director Mark Duffield, the company decided to use the slower period during the pandemic to invest in its digital capabilities and launch a new website.

“We are always looking for opportunities to improve and the pandemic allowed us the time to upgrade the website so we wanted to use the time constructively,” he explained.

“Traditionally, we have taken care of it here but this time we have used a template from the supplier which I think is a big improvement in terms of presentation and information.”

Karma Mobility is the exclusive distributor of Taiwanese manufacturer Karma Medical’s ranges for the UK and Eire. The manufacturer was founded in 1987 and was the creator of Taiwan’s first lightweight aluminium wheelchair model.

According to the company, the new site is now easier for consumers to find more information about individual products, as well as where to buy the products with a new enhanced dealer map and search function.

Discussing the importance of helping end-users find its dealers, Mark added: “It is vitally important that customers that are interested in our products can see and try them locally. Assessment and aftersales care seem to be taken for granted but I think they are extremely important in our industry.”
