John Preston Healthcare Group adds valuable specialist expertise to bolster Scottish market growth
Bringing 20 years of Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience and a wealth of knowledge of the inclusive cycling industry to John Preston Healthcare’s Scottish team, Jason Davies has joined the company as its new Product Specialist.
First starting his journey in the mobility market by working with support seating systems and walking aids, Jason’s position eventually led him to become involved in the disabled cycling scene.
Quickly he progressed onto spearheading the world-renowned RaceRunner three-wheel running trike, with RaceRunning now a recognised Paralympic event.
Mark Anderson, Managing Director of John Preston Scotland / Fast Aid Products, confirmed that the new appointment is part of an ongoing development programme that has seen the organisation expand over the last few years, supplying the Tomcat trike range alongside other mobility products that have been supplied by Fast Aid for many years.
“We have been substantially growing the business and are eager to continue this momentum with the introduction of skilled and industry expert assessors,” he explained.
“Our customers are key to our growth and we recognise the importance of providing gold standard products with gold standard customer service. This applies to the Tomcat Trike Range as well as the other high-level mobility products that we supply.”
Acquiring Fast Aid Products Ltd and its Edinburgh-based showroom in 2011, John Preston Healthcare Group boasts two showrooms in the UK and supplies an extensive range of mobility products to the public, private and charity sectors.
In his new role, Jason will primarily look after the company’s paediatric product range which includes the AAT Stabilo, TheraTrainer and Tomcat suite of products.
“I’m looking forward to using my expertise in the mobility sector to cultivate a new customer base and expand our presence in the Scottish mobility market,” commented Jason.
The appointment of Jason is the second for the John Preston Healthcare Group since August when it announced that Francis McClorey had joined the company as its new product specialist for the Northern and Republic of Ireland.
