About the Opportunity

Trusted Recruiter is proud to be recruiting on behalf of an innovative and rapidly growing company specialising in high-end powered wheelchairs designed through real lived experience. Their products are helping transform mobility and independence for users across the UK.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager with powered wheelchair sales experience to drive revenue across both dealer/distributor networks and direct end users.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation at a key stage of expansion, with the potential to open up new market revenue streams and progress into a senior role long-term.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will take ownership of nationwide sales activity while managing your own diary and client relationships. You will work closely with dealers, distributors, healthcare professionals, rehabilitation centres, and end users, demonstrating products and building strong long-term partnerships.

This is a field-based role requiring travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities across the UK market.
  • Build and grow relationships with dealers, distributors, healthcare professionals, rehabilitation centres, and individual customers.
  • Manage and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations in homes, clinics, and businesses.
  • Deliver against sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the product range and keep up to date with industry trends and competitor products.
  • Provide excellent pre and post-sales customer support to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to develop additional revenue streams and markets as the business expands.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience selling powered wheelchairs within the mobility or assistive technology sector.
  • Strong sales background with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A consultative, empathetic approach when working with customers and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own diary.
  • Technical confidence to assist with product setup and basic troubleshooting during delivery.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
