We are currently looking for a Workshop Technician to join our dedicated team in the servicing and repair of mobility equipment.

The main duties of the role will include:

  • The servicing of manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and power accessories
  • Diagnosing faults, identifying parts and completing agreed repairs
  • Evaluating warranty claims and liaising with suppliers over replacement parts
  • Completing agreed modifications and adjustments to new and existing equipment
  • Communicating with customers to understand their requirements, any issues and provide timely updates on any repairs or issues
  • Updating company systems, processing order paperwork and taking payments where required
  • Ensuring the company’s demo stock is maintained to a high standard
  • Ensuring that the workshop and tools are kept clean and tidy
  • Receiving goods into the warehouse and picking parts when required

Experience of mobility products would be advantageous but is not essential, the key to this role is having a technical background and the ability to work in a logical manner when fault finding.

You must be a team player, possess a good eye for detail, have a basic level of PC skills and be a good communicator.

The role is primarily workshop based at our facility in Aylesbury but you may be required to cover our mobile technician on occasions.

Working hours are Mon to Friday 8.30 – 17:00 (37.5 hours)
