We are currently seeking a Service Engineer who will be based at our new flagship Harlow store.

This is a very exciting opportunity to join a successful family business at a time of expansion.

You will be working from our new state-of-the-art mobility workshop and also carrying out repairs at our customer’s premises. Full manufactures training will be provided.

The working week will be Mon-Fri 8:30am – 5:00pm but will also include some Saturdays, where you will then have a day off in the following week. You will be delivering and servicing products such as rise recliners, mobility scooters, wheelchairs, powerchairs, bathing equipment and hoists. When not servicing/repairing products, you will be expected to support the sales process in-store. Examples of support are varied, including telephone communication with clients and suppliers and assisting customers in-store with any product enquiries. In addition, support with handover and delivery of products, sold in-store would also be essential.

The candidate

It’s not essential that you have experience as full training will be given. However, applications from experienced engineers within the industry or other industries with a similar skill set will be preferable.

Most importantly, the candidate must have a calm and caring attitude, a full UK driving licence and a very positive ‘can do’ attitude. We are looking for someone that has the ability to multi-task, with a very organised manner and who can deliver the excellent service levels that our customers expect from Lifestyle and Mobility.

Full DBS check will be carried out prior to employment.

Due to the nature of the job, it is essential that applicants can lift a minimum 30kg comfortably.

The package

Basic salary is dependent on experience to range between £20k-£25k per annum. In addition, we are offering a generous commission scheme based on the overall store’s performance, with a potential OTE of £35k (uncapped)

All tools required to carry out the role will be provided to include: Vehicle, mobile phone, tool kit and laptop when required.

20 days holiday + Bank holidays, employers pension scheme.
