Role: Business Development Manager
Location: South West
Salary: Basic £40k + Uncapped Commission
The Client is a UK-based Manufacturer and Supplier of high-end Mobility scooters and Wheelchair Accessories, including covers, storage, and bags. Established for over 30 years.
The Job
You will be responsible for heading up the sales for the business as they continue to grow. Focusing on increasing the portfolio of products within mobility retailers, Scooter/wheelchair manufacturers, and anywhere the accessories can be sold to both B2B and End Users; this could be in a brand new sector such as motorcycles, boats etc. Proactively seeking opportunities to grow the business.
Working with the Director and feeding back on alternative ways in which the business can utilize its manufacturing center to create new products and revenue streams. Contact leads, existing customers, and clients to find out what other accessories would interest them.
Products include Canopies to protect Mobility Scooters and Wheelchairs when raining or bad weather conditions, along with Garages for storage, and made-to-measure carry-on bags.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience within the mobility sector, ideally with existing contacts is advantageous but not essential. More importantly, a good sense of initiative to help open other doors and come up with new routes to market. Consistently finding a way to grow the company and products.
The Salary
Base Salary of £40k + Uncapped Commission, Pension, 28 days holiday.
