Role: Business Development Manager – NHS
Location: Midlands & Northern England
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission

 

The Company

Our client is a well-established British manufacturer and supplier of mobility aids and hospital equipment, with over 50 years of heritage in the healthcare sector. Operating under a recognised and trusted brand, the business is currently undergoing a period of growth and investment, presenting significant long-term opportunity.

 

The Role

This is a field-based business development role focused on expanding NHS sales across the Midlands and Northern England. You will be responsible for promoting and selling a portfolio of hospital equipment, with a particular emphasis on patient chairs, alongside complementary product ranges.

 

Key responsibilities include:

– Developing new business opportunities within the NHS while managing and growing existing accounts

– Building and maintaining strong relationships with key NHS stakeholders, including TVNs, clinicians, nurses, and other decision-makers

– Identifying opportunities for product trials, evaluations, and conversions

– Supporting new product discussions and launches

– Working collaboratively with distributors and internal teams to maximise market penetration

 

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a driven and commercially focused sales professional with:

– Proven experience selling into the NHS

– Existing NHS contacts relevant to mobility aids or hospital equipment

– A strong ability to build long-term relationships with clinical and procurement stakeholders

– A proactive, self-motivated approach and a desire to succeed within a growing organisation

 

Experience within hospital furniture, patient handling, mobility, or capital medical equipment would be highly advantageous.

 

Package & Benefits

– £45,000–£50,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
