The Company
Our client is a well-established British manufacturer and supplier of mobility aids and hospital equipment, with over 50 years of heritage in the market. The business is a recognised brand within the sector and is currently undergoing a period of growth and investment, creating significant opportunities for commercial expansion.
The Role
This is a newly created Business Development position focused on developing and expanding relationships with mobility dealers across the North of England, with occasional travel to other regions of the UK.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building strong, long-term relationships with both existing and new mobility dealers
- Introducing products to dealers who do not currently stock the company’s range
- Growing market share across an underdeveloped and high-potential territory
- Promoting a comprehensive product portfolio, including powered mobility products, wheelchairs, walking aids, and bariatric solutions for adults and children
- Acting as a brand ambassador in the dealer network and supporting partners to drive sales growth
The Ideal Candidate
You will be a commercially driven sales professional with proven experience selling into mobility dealers or specialist mobility retailers. You will be comfortable developing dealer relationships, identifying opportunities, and positioning a broad product range effectively.

- Demonstrable experience within the mobility or assistive products sector
- Strong relationship-building and account development skills
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong desire to succeed
- Ability to work autonomously across a large geographical territory
