We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our company by identifying new business opportunities and fostering strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of building relationships that lead to profitable business ventures.
A thorough knowledge and understanding of the UK mobility market, including trends, regulations, and key industry players would be an advantage.
Key skills required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of generating new business, closing sales commitments, and exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities and strong presentation skills.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting and identifying new business opportunities.
- Outstanding account management skills with a strong commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Energetic, professional, and highly organised with a polished professional appearance
- Capable of thriving both as a team player and in independent, self-driven roles.
- A strong brand ambassador, effectively representing our products and services.
- Possess a strong knowledge and understanding of the UK mobility market.

Key responsibilities
- Optimise opportunities & growth potential within the designated area, managing the customer base with full autonomy
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to develop strategies for expanding business.
- Proven experience in a solution-selling environment, with a deep understanding of customer needs analysis and consultative sales techniques.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates to senior management on business development progress.
- Work with marketing, sales, & product teams to align strategies and ensure execution of business development plans.
- Lead negotiations, define contract terms, and finalise solid sales commitments that are beneficial to the company and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build a presence for the company and identify emerging opportunities.
