Area Sales Manager – Meyra UK – Southern UK region (remote)
Role summary
The Area Sales Manager at MEYRA UK Ltd is a pivotal, field-based position covering the Southern UK. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about enhancing lives with innovative mobility solutions, who possess strong technical acumen and a customer-focused approach.
The main objective is to drive considerable sales growth throughout the region, expand powered and manual mobility product lines, and strengthen partnerships with dealers and distributors.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and expand market share by offering expert product support and strategic advice to clients, clinicians, and distributors.
- Deliver impactful product demonstrations, assessments, and trials to facilitate customer adoption and conversions.
- Conduct engaging training sessions for healthcare professionals and prescribers, enabling them to promote MEYRA solutions and support sales objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical expertise and optimize product configurations, ensuring solutions are tailored to customer needs and that revenue opportunities are maximized.
- Work closely with Product Management and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless product delivery, customer satisfaction, repeat business, and support overall regional growth strategy.
Candidate profile

- Experience in the mobility, rehabilitation, or healthcare sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of wheelchairs, seating systems, and mobility aids.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a regional territory.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel and represent MEYRA Group at industry events.
Product focus
The specialist will focus on increasing MEYRA’s market share in Southern UK, with particular emphasis on these product groups:
- E-Powered mobility solutions
- Active wheelchair range for dynamic users
- Passive seating solutions
- Drive devices that enhance independence and freedom
Additional requirements
- Occasional overnight stays due to the field-based nature of the role.
- Periodic travel to Europe for in-house training, trade shows, and international fairs.
- Occasional travel to the UK head office (Rotherham).
