Jenx & Jiraffe acquires early intervention product specialist Daytot
Postural support products manufacturer Jenx has announced the acquisition of Daytot, a brand specialising in early intervention products designed to support infants with developmental needs.
The acquisition aligns with Jenx and Jiraffe’s (the UK distribution and retail arm of Jenx) mission to enable each and every child to have the best possible opportunity of a functional, pain-free future by providing them with innovative, high quality postural support solutions.
Daytot’s products, The Joey, Neo+ and Activity Mat, have been integrated into Jenx and Jiraffe’s existing extensive product range.
Jenx was founded in 1982 with the aim of enriching lives and changing perceptions about disability. The company designs, manufactures and distributes products that provide the support children need to help them to flourish.
Over the last 43 years, Jenx has positively impacted the lives of tens of thousands of children and their families, with products, including the Dreama Sleep System and Standz Abduction Standing frame, being recognised as cutting-edge.
Holly Jenkins, Managing Director of Jenx and Jiraffe, said: “This acquisition strengthens the shared vision for providing a bright and inclusive future for all children.
“We are deeply passionate about the importance of early intervention in helping children reach their full potential. Research shows that timely, appropriate support can have a profound impact on a child’s development, helping to build strength, coordination and confidence from the earliest stages of life.
“The Joey, Neo+ and Activity Mat align perfectly with this commitment, offering practical, research-backed solutions that enable therapists, caregivers, and families to provide essential support at the right time.
“We are both honoured and excited for this next step in the Daytot journey, bringing this life-changing range to children and care-givers worldwide.”
James Leckey, Co-Owner and CEO of Daytot, said: “We are delighted to announce the acquisition of Daytot. Our companies share a deep passion for early intervention, and we know that the Daytot product range will have a bright future at Jenx and Jiraffe.”
As part of its commitment to delivering on its mission, Jenx works in partnership with the people who matter to make society a better place for those with disabilities, and make a positive difference to communities by staying true to its vision and values and being an outstanding employer.
The Daytot range will be distributed by Jiraffe in the UK and Ireland, and by Jenx globally.
