Jenx and Jiraffe strengthen its senior management team with new triple appointments
Sheffield-based postural care specialist Jenx has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of three cross divisional department heads.
The company has welcomed Ryan Lister, 32, as Head of Operations, Nick Marwood, 60, as Head of IT, and James Hopkins, 50, as Head of Finance, with each working across Jenx, and its UK retail division, Jiraffe.
Sheffield-based Ryan Lister joins the company as Head of Operations with 10 years’ experience in the aerospace industry working at Radius Aerospace.
While there he worked as a Production Planner before progressing from Business Unit Manager to Exhausts Operations Manager.
Ryan will oversee production, health and safety, quality, and planning across both Jenx and Jiraffe.
Ryan said: “My vision is to implement a structure that complements the current team and enables everyone to perform at the highest standards.
“Collectively we will build on the strong foundations already in place to provide the best level of service for our customers whilst beating industry standard lead times.”
Nick Marwood of Dronfield joins Jenx as Head of IT. Nick previously worked for several global blue-chip organisations and has vast expertise in large systems engineering involving super computers.
He’s also deployed systems and infrastructure solutions across Europe and Russia for Toyota.
Nick said: “Jenx’s attitude to the working environment is refreshing and we support the development of children which is something I am involved with outside of work with scouting and the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
“I am looking forward to working with the wider team to further develop Jenx’s current systems and IT solutions as we work towards further company growth.”
London-born James Hopkins, now based in North Nottinghamshire, has joined Jenx as Head of Finance after 15 years in a similar role at a Doncaster-based aluminium systems company.
James said: “The company ethos attracted me to Jenx and Jiraffe. The fact that children, parents, physios and carers, are at the heart of what we do is important to me.
“I’m looking forward to being part of a growing company that is enjoyable to work for. I also admire the fact that as a team we are all pulling in the same direction.
“My vision is to aid the company in providing strong foundations that will enable the company to achieve strong growth.”
Jenx, whose headquarters are based in Hillsborough, Sheffield, continues to be a family run company, after being founded back in 1982 by a pediatric physiotherapist and a product designer.
The award-winning company continues to stay true to its founders’ values, with a mission to ensure a better life and brighter future for children with special needs.
Ever since, it has been researching, designing, and manufacturing ground-breaking developmental postural equipment to support children with specific postural needs.
Thanks to a strong period of business growth the company has been recruiting more people to join its teams, most recently making eight new appointments earlier in the year.
