Due to recent expansion and the launch of new products, Sheffield-based postural support specialist, Jenx, and its UK distribution division, Jiraffe, are continuing to look for new people to join its teams.

Jiraffe recently appointed three new product advisors, but before that Ryan Lister joined as Head of Operations, Nick Marwood as Head of IT, James Hopkins as Head of Finance and Kieran Murphy, in a brand-new role, as Clinical Partnerships Manager.

The organisation is actively looking to fill three customer support advisor roles at Jiraffe, as well as a range of operative, supervisor and team leader roles at Jenx.

Jenx, and Jiraffe, have experienced a significant period of growth across the range of postural support equipment that changes children’s lives.

Holly Jenkins, Jiraffe Divisional Director, said: “We are delighted with the success we have achieved over the last year, despite the uncertainty of the pandemic.

“We have seen consistent growth and are thrilled that we’re now able to recruit even more people to join our teams!

“It’s even more poignant as we look towards our 40th anniversary this year, reflecting on the past 40 years of Jenx and preparing for the future.

“Strengthening Jenx and Jiraffe with further recruitment means that we will be able to provide the very best support and products to children and that is ultimately at the heart of what we do every day.

“Employing more specialists across the board only increases our potential to reach every child who is in need of specialist postural support equipment.”

Dan Limb, Jenx Divisional Director, said: “Our recent recruitment drive is a true reflection of the success of Jiraffe and Jenx and we are excited to welcome new people to our organisation.

“We look forward to meeting our new team members and look forward to expanding our workforce as we work towards our goals for 2022 and beyond.”

Jenx, the pioneer of postural equipment for children for nearly 40 years, whose headquarters are based in Hillsborough, Sheffield, along with its UK distribution centre, Jiraffe, continue to be a family run company.

It was founded in 1982 by a paediatric physiotherapist and a product designer with the aim of enriching lives and changing perceptions about disability.

The company continues to stay true to its founders’ values, with a mission to ensure a better life and brighter future for children with special needs.
