Invacare launches ceiling hoist with LED display feature to support single-handed care
Disability equipment manufacturer Invacare has announced the launch of a new ceiling hoist which is designed to meet the evolving needs of nursing and home care environments while bringing comfort and dignity to patients.
The Robin EVO ceiling hoist is an advancement of the trusted design of the Invacare Robin ceiling hoist. Featuring the two-strap concept, without the need for a spreader bar, the Robin EVO facilitates communication and positive interaction between patients and caregivers.
For added safety, the hoist is equipped with new features such as an LED display for operating feedback, battery charge indication and extra efficiencies including more lifting cycles per charge, faster lifting speeds and longer battery life.
Dick Schilstra, Global Head of Safe Patient Handling for Invacare, said, “We are delighted to introduce the Robin EVO to our range of safe patient handling equipment.
“This innovative ceiling hoist is designed to support single-handed care, reducing the physical strain on carers, minimising work-related injuries and promoting a safer working environment.
“With the Robin EVO, healthcare facilities can look forward to greater caregiver efficiency and patient satisfaction, making it an essential tool for modern healthcare facilities.”
Invacare recently announced that it will once again support the Superhero Series powered by Marvel as a key sponsor partner for 2025.
