Innova goes virtual to deliver hoist and hydropool training to architects and contractors
Innova Care Concepts has launched a free online training service – InnovaLive – to cover how to incorporate patient hoists and hydrotherapy pools into healthcare environments.
The Yorkshire-based company provides consultation, design, equipment, installation, maintenance and project management services for new-build and refurbishment projects across the care sector.
Primarily aimed at architects and contractors, the first virtual CPD sessions will take place throughout May and will seek to fill the void left by the many cancelled events, conferences and training opportunities caused by the coronavirus.
The online training sessions will be delivered by Bob Oliver, Innova’s hoist and hydrotherapy pool specialist.
Commenting on the InnovaLive launch, he said: “It doesn’t matter how many projects you’ve worked on, there’s always more to learn. Every user group and setting has its own specific requirements.
“Sharing these experiences and best practices across the industry helps everyone to create better care environments. That’s why we started offering CPD in the first place. Now, finding ways to future-proof care facilities and improve quality of life for care givers and patients feels more important than ever.
Since 2013, Innova has delivered traditional face-to-face training to architects and contractors across the UK, however, the new course will be the company’s first virtual training.
“Launching InnovaLive lets us take all the practical, interactive aspects of our CPD sessions – like case studies, video, Q&A, component samples – and bring them online,” added Bob.
“We can share information with more people in the industry and make continued professional development accessible wherever they are.”
The first series of ‘Hoists and Hydrotherapy Pools’ CPD sessions will take place at 2pm on the 12th, 19th and 27th May 2020.
Each session is free to attend via Zoom, with interested parties invited to book onto a session here
In addition, all attendees will be sent a certificate of attendance and a complimentary gift pack, including a free copy of Innova’s 25-page ‘Specifier’s Guide to Healthcare Environments.’
