HSL expands retail presence with its first concession with leading Scottish home retailer
Comfort furniture specialist HSL Chairs has taken a strategic step in its retail expansion by partnering with one of Scotland’s leading home retailers, Sterling Home, to open its first concession at their Tillicoultry location.
The new concession presents a focused range of HSL chairs, sofas and beds, showcasing the brand’s Clever Comfort furniture alongside its new Ercol collaboration collection.
This partnership brings together two family run businesses with a shared focus on service, quality and customer experience.
By situating HSL’s specialist furniture within Sterling Home’s established showroom environment, the brand can reach new customers and demonstrate its products in a retail setting that highlights the quality and design of its collections.
From engineered recliners and riser recliners to sofas designed to support posture, wellbeing and everyday living, the partnership is expected to allow more customers to experience furniture that truly makes a difference.
Customers at the Tillicoultry concession will get the opportunity to try products in store and receive expert, one-to-one guidance from HSL’s trained Comfort Specialists, who will be based within the Sterling Home showroom.

In August 2025 HSL Chairs announced that it had relocated its Warrington showroom to a much larger space within a prominent mainstream retail park.
