Hickleys Healthcare prepares to host south-west mobility equipment show in October
Taunton-based mobility equipment supplier, Hickleys Healthcare, is to host its own mobility show in the south-west of England in October.
Hickleys South West Mobility Show will be held on Wednesday October 27 at the Sports Hall at Somerset College of Arts & Technology in Taunton and will be free to attend.
The one-day show will host product displays and demonstrations from a range of industry suppliers and will be a welcome change for the sector to meet face to face after a year of virtual gatherings.
Event organiser, Garry Hellings said news of the exhibition had already received a favourable response from its main suppliers, who will be in attendance on the day to help answer any questions or technical queries.
Garry said: “There have been few, if any mobility product type shows in our southwest area for several years, so we are hosting our own South-West mobility show.
“We feel that consumers, healthcare professionals, carers etc will welcome a day out at a local regional mobility equipment show.”
The sports hall at Somerset College of Art & Technology, he says, provides an ideal large indoor venue, with all day car parking offered for £1 all day.
The venue offers easy access to the M5 motorway, with local bus services stopping regularly at the venue and offering a connection to Taunton’s Main Line railway station.
Hickleys Healthcare is currently approaching its 96th year in business. The firm recently expanded its operations with the addition of two more service engineers, additional vans and a whole new store front with automatic doors at its Taunton showroom and HQ.
