Handicare enjoys “best-ever” partner day with sport-filled celebrations and product unveilings
Combining welly wanging, human table football, product launches and a celebrity guest, global accessibility manufacturer Handicare is celebrating its most successful partner event in the UK.
Partners from all over the country were invited to Tylney Hall in Hampshire, which had been transformed into a Handicare Stadium for a World of Sport themed day. With morning activities including dart football, axe throwing, archery, clay pigeon shooting, welly wanging and human table football, attendees were split into teams and invited to compete.
A press conference followed where new products, including the Savaria Luma homelift, were unveiled and partners were given the opportunity to learn more about the additions to Handicare’s product portfolio before diving into a Q&A with the Senior Leadership Team.
Festivities didn’t end there. Dinner was served and former English rugby union player and long-serving Question of Sport captain, Matt Dawson, joined the celebrations and hosted a Handicare Question of Sport special, bringing the perfect mix of competition and comedy to the evening.
The Handicare Partner Awards ended the evening, Pickerings took home the Silver Partner accolade, while South Wales Mobility took Gold Partner and Deltron Lifts was awarded Diamond Partner.
Ability Assist was presented with the New Business Award while Mountfield Services won Honoured Loyal Partner for over two decades of loyal partnership.

The coveted Handicare World of Sport Ballon D’Or award was presented to Alastair Gibbs from TPG DisableAids too, for being the standout performer during the morning’s sporting activities, showing exceptional sportsmanship and teamwork.
Jason Skelding, UK Trade Sales Director at Handicare, said: “The partner day was a tremendous success. I would go as far to say the best ever.
“There was a perfect balance between work and play, with plenty of time to talk about new products and how we can further support our partners but the opportunity to let our hair down and enjoy each other’s company too.
“I’d like to thank each and every one of our partners for giving up their time to spend with us. We know time is a precious commodity, but I genuinely believe everyone saw value from the event.”
