Fish launches new insurance and breakdown cover package for mobility retailers
At Trade Days 2018, Fish Insurance launched its new Totalcare package, which provides insurance and breakdown cover for mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs.
Exclusive to Appointed Representatives (ARs) of Fish Insurance, Totalcare is designed to make life easier for mobility retailers by giving customers buying a mobility scooter or powered wheelchair unrivalled protection in one simple package.
Totalcare includes insurance and breakdown cover for mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs, along with added protection for tyres and lost or damaged keys.
Customers will also be provided with a powerful DNA+ theft deterrent kit, exclusive within the disability insurance sector to Fish and their ARs, to help protect their investment. The scooter is marked as protected, deterring thieves, while the forensic coding used in the DNA+ formula makes it easy for police to trace the item back to its rightful owner.
Extended warranty cover is available as part of the Totalcare package if customers would like to extend the length of time they are protected in the event of mechanical or electrical breakdown.
With policies covering scooter and powerchair users for up to 3 years, Totalcare is designed to give customers peace of mind, so they can go about their day knowing they are covered.
Totalcare is only available in stores that have an AR relationship with Fish Insurance. As an AR of Fish, you can sell Totalcare in your store and the customer will be covered at the point of sale.
In addition, Fish’s new Easy Payment Scheme means that customers can choose to pay by Direct Debit and spread the cost over a 12-month period.
