Newly rebranded Wellell to showcase “innovative” product offering at RISE @ THIIS event
Medical equipment provider Wellell has stated that it is looking forward to reconnecting with dealers and showing off the latest advances to its products to visitors attending the upcoming RISE @ THIIS trade event on 10th May 2022.
Hundreds of industry buyers and sellers in the mobility, access and independent living sector are expected to connect on the 10th May 2022 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Milton Keynes for RISE @ THIIS.
Sponsored by Motion Healthcare, the inaugural B2B trade exhibition and conference is being held in collaboration with THIIS Magazine, RISE4Disability, and the British Healthcare Trades Association.
The free-to-attend event will provide retailers and installers with the chance to discover new products, network with new and old contacts, and find uncover new opportunities.
Attendees will also be free to access the event’s full schedule of interesting and invaluable conference sessions led by a roster of expert speakers covering a range of topics.
The night before the exhibition will see members of the industry enjoy a night of networking and entertainment at the RISE @ THIIS gala dinner, which will include a three-course meal and a line-up of world-class comedians.
THIIS caught up with Greg Whelan, Product & Marketing Director at Wellell, to find out more about why retailers should visit Wellell on Stand 8 at the show and the products he is looking to showcase to mobility and access customers.
Can you tell us about Wellell?
“Wellell UK Limited, formerly Apex Medical, has been a provider in the medical equipment sector for over 30 years. In 2022 we rebranded our organisation preparing for the future in this fast-paced innovative sector and for the global challenges in providing quality healthcare products to carers and end users alike.”
What are you looking to gain by attending RISE @ THIIS?
“Attending RISE@THIIS will enable us to showcase our new Wellell brand and brand philosophy and to engage with existing and new like-minded organisations that are keen to attain access to innovative quality products and services available from Wellell.

What product are you are most excited to showcase at the event?
“Our key product exhibited at the event is the Innovative Rota-pro Rotational Chair Bed.
“The design of the Rota-Pro range of beds have a robust construction aimed to bring back mobility, dignity and independence to users of all shapes, heights and sizes.
“These chair beds can be offered to people who are weight bearing and able to walk but struggle transferring from sitting to standing. The attractive beech timber bed frame and specially designed pressure reducing mattress enables users to get into and out of bed unassisted.
“As a life-changing product for those struggling to get in and out of bed unassisted the Rota-pro also offers users and their immediate family members the dignity and peace of mind that most of us take for granted.”
What can retailers look forward to from your firm over the next 12 months?
“Wellell UK are going to launch even more exciting innovative products across various channels in the UK throughout 2022. Many of these medical devices will be new to the UK market and will offer retailers, carers, end esers and even the acute sector an opportunity to access them for the very first time.
