Scooterpac Cabin Cars
Josh Coles, Marketing Manager for Scooterpac, has said that the supplier is looking forward to reconnecting with dealers and showing off the latest advances to its products to visitors attending the upcoming British Healthcare Trade Show (BHTS) on 15th June 2021.

At the B2B event, which is exclusively made for the trade, Scooterpac said that it jumped at the chance to attend the event in Leeds, especially as it felt that mobility trade events are predominantly hosted in the Midlands or southern England.

Scooterpac designs and manufactures innovative mobility products to improve the lives of the less able. Its products include the Cabin Car mobility scooter and the all-weather folding Canopy, that, according to the supplier, fits almost any scooter in the world.

THIIS caught up with Josh to find out more about why retailers should stop by the Scooterpac stand at the show and the significance of having a B2B show for the mobility and access trade.

Why has Scooterpac chosen to support the industry by exhibiting at BHTS?

“When we discovered that the inaugural BHTS show in Leeds was being organised we jumped at the chance of being involved. Predominantly most mobility trade events have been hosted in the Midlands or South. We felt this created a disadvantage for retailers based in the North.

“The BHTS presents a fantastic opportunity for us to physically reconnecting with these dealers all in one place. It will equally offer an opportunity to discover how both we and the industry are evolving to support their growth.”

What are you most looking forward to at BHTS?

“Throughout last year Scooterpac have been capitalising on the lockdown periods to bring to market benefits for our customers. We have significantly enhanced the Cabin Car production line – improvements that we are confident attendees will realise, in person.

“Our latest product, the scooterHUB is compatible with virtually every mobility scooter and includes built in charging capabilities. The modular design and hassle-free installation make it the perfect storage solution for scooter users.

“We have significantly upgraded our online tools for all customers such as the new dealer portal; offering technical support, parts information and marketing resources at a touch of a button.

“The last event Scooterpac attended was in October 2019, coupled with restricted physical contact with our customers, we are excited to finally be back “out on the road”.”

Why should people come and see you at the show?

“Despite last year’s unprecedented and challenging period, interest in our products has soared – people have wanted to live life in complete freedom. As we continue to develop and release ground-breaking mobility products, there really is a no better time to join the Scooterpac family.

“Come and talk to us on the stage and let us show you how our pioneering products can benefit your customers and ultimately your business.”

Why do you think a trade-exclusive event for the industry is important?

“Not only is a trade-exclusive event important to help the industry showcase its products and services but it is also an opportunity for both manufacturers and retailers to widen their understanding of the topical challenges we are all facing.

“At the very heart of Scooterpac it is all about delivering both smart and innovative products. As well as gaining continual feedback from our customers, trade events have always been a crucial element to help shape and achieve those solutions. Being able to reconnect with directly with retailers in this trade-only environment will help gain that insight.”

Scooterpac will be exhibiting on the stage at the British Healthcare Trade Show.

Delivered in partnership with the British Healthcare Trades Association, THIIS Magazine and Promoting Independence, and sponsored by Motion Healthcare, BHTS aims to reconnect retailers with leading manufacturers in the mobility and access sectors in a relaxed, COVID-secure space.
